Under the shadow of the big church of Skarinou, the one of Panagia Odigitria, in the centre of the village, a very small and old chapel is built, dedicated to Agios Georgios. The date of its grounding goes very far back in time and reaches even before 1785.
In difficult for the community times, the chapel was used for different purposes. Up until 1950 it was used as a girls boarding school and later on it received all the equipment from the church that had been demolished. Today its bell rings twice a year, these are the times that the priest performs liturgies in it.
