The journey Kykkos Monastery - Stavros tis Psokas, can be easily characterised as one of the best that the mountain area of Cyprus may offer us. Emotions succeed one another and each road’s turn has a good surprise.
The sinuous road, seems to be hanging from nowhere, since it passes above deep and bottomless green ravines. The pine trees alternate with cedar trees at in the whole journey.
In such a beautiful landscape, there is a cliff so deep, that its view cuts your breath. At an altitude of 1153 metres, next to the point where the humongous Latzia (golden oak) is found, you will see the “Kremmos tis Pellis” (Cliff of the crazy woman).
