On the road from Klavdia to Pyrga, 500 metres before the Monastery of Panagia I Stazousa, on the right hand of the road, on the peak of a small hill, the Agion Theopatoron Ioakeim and Anna chapel is found.
The chapel was built on ruins of an older church that existed in the 11th century. There are no clues about who was or were the Saints to whom it was dedicated, therefore due to the fact that there used to be a road that lead to the village nearby, which is Agia Anna, it was decided that it should be dedicated to the Saints Ioakeim and Anna.
The Chapel is part of the property of the Stavrovouni Monastery, just as Panagia I Stazousa and the Timiou Prodromou chapel which is found in the same area.
