West of the village of Eptagonia that belongs to the Limassol district, and on the peak of a small hill, among cypress and pine trees, is where the small chapel dedicated to Agios Georgios is found for the past half century.
The small Church was fully built with the help of donations and voluntary work by the residents of the village. It is a single aisled Basilica that has a gabled, vaulted roof made of wood and it has the capacity to welcome a maximum amount of fifty people.
The small, concrete belfry has the shape of two vertical columns which have an internal longitudinal arch and it is found on the eastern corner of the south wall. It is integrated in the “corpus” of the Church. The narthex forms an arched semi circle. The main body of the Church is built out of concrete which has been whitened from the outside.
The visitor has the possibility to see and observe a great part of the village from the forecourt, as well as another two churches that are found in Eptagonia, the church of Agia Marina and the chapel of Agios Photios.
