In the village of “Pervolia” in the district of Larnaca, there is a Church dedicated to Agia Eirini Megalomartira. It is found in the centre of the village, at the “entrance” of the renovated, paved old centre.
It is a basilica, it is arched and has tiles. On the southern wall, there are five external arches, just like on the northern one. On the roof, there are 10 pointed arches, five on each wall. Above the narthex, that does not form a smooth semicircle, there are another three pointed arches.
The belfry is found on the eastern side of the northern wall and it is stone built, just like the whole Church itself.
It is a construction dated in 1903 and it is the main church of the village. It was fully built by the settlers.
