The Acropolis park is a green paradise of escape for those who live and work in the capital. It is a park, simple in its plans, but with the green being dominating in the landscape.
A narrow street encircles the park and guides you to different “corners” that the tree clusters form. Even if it is not big, it is the ideal place for walking. The play yard, provides all the security necessary for children to play.
The cafe-restaurant and the kiosk are equipped with everything necessary to serve a big amount of visitors. The grass that covers a big area, is also there for walks or even for laying down with company. The bridge joining the central entrance with the cafe-restaurant, passes over the small lake with the fountains. The basketball court is there awaiting for our athletes to come.
The Acropolis park is one of the best parks of the Nicosia district and it belongs to the Strovolos Municipality, which fairly feels proud of it.
